Back in early May, I had the opportunity to photograph a wine tasting event in the Leelanau area. The Sip and Savor went on all weekend and I made it to a fantastic cluster of wineries in Traverse City. This image below is now recently published in the Leelanau Peninsula Vinter’s Association website. 
This image was photographed at the Ciccone Winery owned by Madonna’s father Anthony Ciccone, whom I had the pleasure in speaking with and one of the nicest people to ever meet. I look forward to my visit back.

After the Rain
It rained all morning and when it stopped I ran out to the mailbox to go check the mail. This beautiful Daylilly caught my attention. So I ran back in the house and grabbed my macro lens. 
These are some of the images I caught.
This summer has done nothing but go back and forth between rainy and muggy. But at least we’ve been blessed with a few fantastic days.

Founders Festival ‘08
On June 21st, 2008, Founders Brewing Company held their first annual Founders Festival: A Celebration of Beer and Music, here in Grand Rapids, MI. 
The celebration was located on a blocked off street in front of the Founders Brewing Company building located on 235 Grandville Ave.
The event hosted food, music, and plenty of beer to go around. This celebration lasted from 3pm to 11pm and the party rocked all day long.
