Trash The Dress…family style.
I had an amazing session this morning on Thornapple River at my friend, Heather’s home.
I walked down stairs to find a box that had not been open since 1999. Inside was Heather’s wedding dress just aching to come outside and enjoy a good soaking in the river.
What made this session more special was that since then Heather has had three wonderful children in which her two daughters, Lindsay and Allison, enjoyed getting in their flower girl dresses and jumped in the river with mom.
It was so fun to watch white gowns floating around in the river.
After watching his sisters having so much fun in the river with Mom, Sam, finally joined in on some of the fun and even got a few shots with his siblings.
He also made a great assistant when he wasn’t in the pictures.
The Delozier Boys
Back in February, my friend, Liz, and her family grew an extra two feet. Her son Jackson was born so she needed to update summer pics with just the boys.

Jackson
I was especially amazed when I saw who used to be the youngest Jacob.
I love seeing how much babies grow and develop. He wanted nothing to do with pictures but a little candy was enough for him to sit still for a few shots here and there. Then there is Jason, the oldest.
I was so impressed to see what a great older brother he is. Truly, these boys were a great group of kids and I look forward to many more family sessions with them.
