2009 High School Senior Rep

Erica represents Rogers High School’s Class of 2009. She too is also a soccer player and is still deciding whether she would like to attend Ferris State University or Grand Valley State University next fall.

Her session began at downtown Rockford. Originally, we were to meet last Sunday but because of the weather not being so cooperative, we rescheduled.

Wednesday evening was much better but it was pretty darn cold walking around especially over by the dam. Needless to say, we still managed to get some amazing images of her.

I’m so happy you had fun, Erica, during your shoot. Good luck to you on your final year in high school!

Welcome to the World…

Miss Makaiya Kiyanni Rae Flemming!!!

The proud parents, Petey and Jenelle, gave birth to this little bundle joy on October 28th, 2008. She was 16 1/2 inches and weighed 5 pounds and 10 ounces. When I came in the room she was wrapped up like a little bean burrito, just snuggled up all nice and tight. Of course I come in and undo all of that. I can tell she’s going to be a fantastic model when she gets older.

She’s sweet and amazing. Congratulations to you both, Jenelle and Petey!!!

Pelak Family

So my friends Jill and Eric were wanting to do their holiday portraits. Originally, the shoot was to take place outside, but because of the lovely rainy, windy weather we had over the weekend, we had to opt for some in studio shots instead. These girls are just too adorable…and Eric, too.

So I wanted some donuts and cider.

So after a weekend of having photoshoots at Robinette’s, I had been itching for some fresh donuts and cider. So I called up my girlfriends and they brought their little ones along. Even though it rained all day, it was nice to have a little afternoon date.

2009 High School Senior Rep

Brittany represents East Kentwood High School’s Class of 2009. She currently is an avid soccer player and has been since she could start running. Her plans are to attend Alma College next fall.

Her session began at Robinette’s Apple Haus for an outdoor fall scenery. Although, this morning started off a little brisk and my only challenge was the wind blowing her beautiful hair around we managed to get some amazing shots of her in various areas of the property.

I love what Robinette’s has to offer for such a session and between that and Brittany, I would say it was a winning combination.

On the way back from Robinettes, we discovered a neighbor who had several barns in their back yard. Let me say what a great piece of property and so close to the city as well. With permission, we finished up our session there and called it good. Thank you so much, Mary Jo, for allowing us to wonder around your property.

The Meyers

This afternoon, I met up with my friends Dave, Amanda and their two boys, Igor and Kyouse. They’re Min-Pins if you hadn’t guessed.

Our session began at Robinette’s Apple Haus where we walked through the apple orchard’s bike trail.

What beautiful day to for family fall pictures and the boys were so good about having their pictures taken.

As we walked through different places on the property, Dave and Amanda had the urge to try and eat an apple off of one of the trees.

By the looks on their faces, I think they both agreed they wouldn’t do that again. Just like how the story of Adam and Eve ends…Shame on you both!!

Later we headed back to the studio to do individual shot of Igor and Kyouse in their Halloween costumes and Polo shirts. It was was way too entertaining.

It was good spending an afternoon with you guys.

Groondyke kids

Friday I was at Aquinas College for some childrens portraits of Khloe and Jarryd.

I would have to say these two were so easy going and very easy to shoot.

I just love Khloe’s angelic face to go with Jarryd’s cheesy smile.

These two are so adorable and were so natural when it came down to photographing them.

I also love the landscaping at Aquinas’ location.

It’s perfect at almost anytime of year. Thanks Dennis for letting me photograph your beautiful children!

Dulyea Family

Dale, Pat, Sam, Shirley, and I headed to Johnson Park for their family portait session. It was a perfect morning to be outside to photograph and for Pat’s three generations of women in her family, Shirley, Patricia, and Samantha.
