It must come with age to know the years just fly right by. I look back at 2008 and can’t believe how quick it came and went. Personally, I have deemed 2008 as The Year of Babies. Almost all of my closest friends brought forth beautiful little people into this world and I am so very thankful to be a part of that and a part of their lives. I keep thinking a new generation has just begun, but really I am so excited that their lives will be a whole new journey for them.

And now it’s 2009! 2009!! I would be lying if I said that our economy in this beautiful state of Michigan didn’t bother me. At the same time, I know deep within my heart that 2009 is going to be a fantastic year and will be filled with inspiration and opportunities. When doors shut, windows open and I feel like I’m in a cabana in Costa Rica with the sun out and the fresh ocean breeze sifting in.

2009 will be great for you, as well, because I have so much in store for you. I hope you continue to stay tuned as Emery & Company Photography will be adding new things to the collection and opportunities will arise for sessions and gifts.
