1 year: Sela B.

Miss Sela is becoming a big girl all too quickly, and has had one eventful year.  With all the stuff she has had going on for her this past year, I will say she’s one little soldier and I’m so happy to see her smiling, happy, and strong.   You can tell her big blue eyes are nothing but curious and ambitious as she would try to climb up slides by herself and let herself slide back down when she was ready.  I met with her at Robinette’s Apple Orchard for her one year session and her big brother, Owen, joined in with a few shots here and there.  He’s such a funny little man.  While I was photographing Sela, he was doing his best to entertain all of us with his knock-knock jokes and silly faces, but I will say I’m so proud to see him be such a good older brother trying to hug his sister and hold her up as she tries to walk.  I can tell they are going to be really good buddies.

Miss Harper Grace Marckini!!!

This sweet little darlin’ was born August 1, 2010 at 7:14 am, weighing in 7 lbs and 3 oz and 19 in long.   She did so well for her first photo session, and she even managed to rock a few accessories.  Harper is just such a wonderful bundle of goodness and sweetness that even her little cries had me cooing and awing.

Congratulations, Courtney and Scott on your little girl!!  I’m sure she brings plenty of joy to both of your lives.

Miss Mariam Yousef Karadsheh!!!

This little bundle of joy was born June 25, 2010 weighing in at a petite 5 lbs 13 oz and was 19 in long.  She was so quiet and sweet during our session, however, Mom said that wasn’t quite the case.  Hopefully Mom is getting more sleep these days.  I was blessed to photograph this darling little girl and honored that her parents let me to do so.  I look forward to the days when she is sitting, crawling, and chatting away.

Congratulations to the pair of you, Nadia and Yousef!!  Your family is beautiful!

Kids: Marina

Marina will soon be the ripe old age of 2 years old.  She was so intrigued with everything in the park except myself of course.  She sniffed the flowers.  She touched the water with her toes.  She found rocks in the creek.  Of course, all of those things we so much more important than having her picture taken.  I suppose that’s why she looks so darling in each photo because they were moments of being care free.  “Who cares about photos Mom! The water feels good on my feet.  I want to play and touch and smell and drink.”  (That’s me interpreting for her).  At least she has some time to enjoy all the wonderful little things until she officially becomes a big sister.

It was a pleasure to hang out with darling, little Marina and I can’t wait to meet your new little brother or sister.

Brynn 6 months

Sweet little Brynn made it in my studio not too long ago for her 6 months photo session.  She’s gone from sitting in her car seat to sitting on her own.  What a big girl!  She was as happy as she could be and mommy was so darn proud of her.  Brynn was even her rockin’ in her own purple shoes.

It was good to see you miss Brynn.  Big kisses to you, baby girl!!

Baby Brynn: 3 months

My precious little Brynn came into the studio Saturday afternoon for her 3 months old session.  I always find the 3 month sessions and the one year sessions to be such a mile stone because when babies come in at these ages I always think, “Gosh, they’re how old?!!”  It amazes me how much time flies right by and all of a sudden they are doing and saying all of these things.  I love the baby process for these many reasons.

Oh my sweet, Brynn!!  I swear Mom and Dad was burning calories just to try and get this sweet baby to smile, but that simply was not happening for her.  She did however seem to be pretty comfortable in her seat and even without the smiling she is just as cute as a button.  With the spirit of Valentines in mind she rocked some red shoes for me, which I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!

Welcome to the World….

…Miss Brynn Joyce Beverwyk!!!

My best friend, Brenda and her husband Joel, gave birth to their first baby girl on November 10th, weighing in at a healthy 6lbs and measured at 18.5 in.  It’s so exciting for me to see my friends bring beautiful little people in the world and meeting Brynn has been no exception.  Just at first glance, I can already tell she looks like her daddy.  We’re just going to have to wait and see if she’s going to have her mommy’s attitude.  Ha ha!!

 

Brynn, I am so happy you are here, Sweetheart, and Brenda and Joel, congratulations to your baby daughter!!  I love you all!!

 

Nahya and Carolina

Two of my favorite girls came in Saturday morning for a first time Mommy/Daughter session as well as Nahya’s 6 months and I am so impressed how well Nahya was for her pictures.  She would squeal in excitement every time I put the camera to my face knowing she was having her picture taken.  My baby is becoming a natural.

Vander Boon Family

Jay, Jenny and Ava came in this evening for their first family session.  What a beautiful family they are.  Ava was quite the chatty one this evening but she only made for good entertainment as I was trying to get my shots of her.  I don’t think I need to go into how much I love this family but I will say I just love them to pieces.

B+I squared = Family

Bryan and Imaree arrived to the studio this evening with their most beautiful addition, Izabella (Bella for short).  It was only a few months ago Imaree had her BUMP session and now almost 3 months later comes back with her and Bryan’s sweet little girl.  Baby girl started getting a little hungry towards the end but before the session had ended Bella crashed hard.  It just took a couple bounces in Mommy’s arms and she was out like a light.  I wish falling asleep was that easy for me.
