I think it’s quite possible that Auralia is quite the heartbreaker. Look at this kid’s face!!! Big blue eyes, round chunky cheeks, and pink pouty lips…yeah, dad better keep the gun close by on this one.
I met with Auralia and her two cousins, Adrianna and Memphis, at the Blandford Nature Center for some holiday photos. These three were overkill on the adorableness. Of course not everything is as easy as it looks but with the entourage these kids had it made the matching outfits and the cute cheeks turn these cuties into a JC Penny’s ad.

Miss Sela is becoming a big girl all too quickly, and has had one eventful year. With all the stuff she has had going on for her this past year, I will say she’s one little soldier and I’m so happy to see her smiling, happy, and strong. You can tell her big blue eyes are nothing but curious and ambitious as she would try to climb up slides by herself and let herself slide back down when she was ready. I met with her at Robinette’s Apple Orchard for her one year session and her big brother, Owen, joined in with a few shots here and there. He’s such a funny little man. While I was photographing Sela, he was doing his best to entertain all of us with his knock-knock jokes and silly faces, but I will say I’m so proud to see him be such a good older brother trying to hug his sister and hold her up as she tries to walk. I can tell they are going to be really good buddies.

Nine months sure does come fast. Let me rephrase that…Nine months old sure does come fast, especially for sweet Brynn. We met at Grotto Park with her big cousin, Yamilet. They were dressed in matching sundresses and were as cute as ever. I love these too darlings so much!!

Miss Mariam Yousef Karadsheh!!!
This little bundle of joy was born June 25, 2010 weighing in at a petite 5 lbs 13 oz and was 19 in long. She was so quiet and sweet during our session, however, Mom said that wasn’t quite the case. Hopefully Mom is getting more sleep these days. I was blessed to photograph this darling little girl and honored that her parents let me to do so. I look forward to the days when she is sitting, crawling, and chatting away.
Congratulations to the pair of you, Nadia and Yousef!! Your family is beautiful!

My sweet little niece will be turning 5 years old in a few days plus a few more days. It’s amazing how quickly time flies by. I know it’s a statement I have a tendency to makes several times when I’m blogging and photographing but I can’t help make such an apparent observation. I absolutely love this session with Libby because each photo emulates what a bright and happy little girl she is and I can only imagine what kind of young lady she is going to become one day. I love her to pieces and so does her Uncle Chris. She brings so much joy when she comes over and keeps us pretty entertained.
Libby, Uncle Chris and I look forward to your 5th birthday party!! Just don’t expect us to bring anything. 
We love you tons, Sweety!

Marina will soon be the ripe old age of 2 years old. She was so intrigued with everything in the park except myself of course. She sniffed the flowers. She touched the water with her toes. She found rocks in the creek. Of course, all of those things we so much more important than having her picture taken. I suppose that’s why she looks so darling in each photo because they were moments of being care free. “Who cares about photos Mom! The water feels good on my feet. I want to play and touch and smell and drink.” (That’s me interpreting for her). At least she has some time to enjoy all the wonderful little things until she officially becomes a big sister.
It was a pleasure to hang out with darling, little Marina and I can’t wait to meet your new little brother or sister.

The Ballors arrived last week for a quick session with their boy, Owen, and their newest addition, Sela. I have had the privilege for the past few years to photograph Owen. He is growing before my eyes and his personality is growing too. He showed my his several yoga poses from downward dog, cobra, rock and tree. I was so impressed. He was dancing and jumping around and of course he gave me his classic Owen look. Then there was darling little Sela and her big beautiful eyes just staring right back at me. Could she not be any sweeter?
It is so wonderful to watch the Ballor family grow. It’s one of the perks to the job.

…Miss Brynn Joyce Beverwyk!!!
My best friend, Brenda and her husband Joel, gave birth to their first baby girl on November 10th, weighing in at a healthy 6lbs and measured at 18.5 in. It’s so exciting for me to see my friends bring beautiful little people in the world and meeting Brynn has been no exception. Just at first glance, I can already tell she looks like her daddy. We’re just going to have to wait and see if she’s going to have her mommy’s attitude. Ha ha!!
Brynn, I am so happy you are here, Sweetheart, and Brenda and Joel, congratulations to your baby daughter!! I love you all!!

I met with Ari and Norah Saturday afternoon at Aquinas College for Ari’s 1 year old pics and Norah’s 4 years old pics. I have photographed Norah since she was a baby so I am always excited about photographing her only to see how big she is getting. It’s also very clear to me of what a little person she is turning into. She undoubtedly loves her brothers and she’s definitely daddy’s little girl. She picked out the boots she was planning on wearing for pictures and was happy to sit on everything insight. 4 years old is such a funny age because it’s clear when you are outside and the weather is beautiful with so much to look at, the interest of having your picture taken goes away after 5 minutes.
As far as little Ari goes, his smile is so contagious for me. For being 1 year old, he is so expressive and clearly so happy. I love that. There is something about little children smiling back at you that makes it hard to resist to not smile right back.

My sweet angel, Nahya, came over Saturday as it was time for her 3 month session. My little sweetheart was gone for 4 weeks in Chile, so it was so nice to see her again after being away on her vacation. While she was with me during her session, I came to learn she loved not wearing clothes. Just as happy as she can be.
